Day 8-Some people have an internal GPS and some have to buy one.

Yes, I’m back.  Although I’ve been running, I didn’t have access to an internet so wasn’t able to blog so I’m going to do some catch up posts.   Thanks to all who sent messages.

Thought: Running in a foreign place is like running in a foreign place.   I don’t have that internal system that tracks where I’ve been and where I need to go.  The reason why I run an out and back and usually just one way is so I don’t have to question if I’ve made a left or right at a certain point- it’s just go back.   Simple.

When I was looking for a car to buy, the one item that it had to have was a good GPS.   I didn’t care for leather interior, moon roof, sun roof, liters per gallon, engine- all meant nothing to me but what I wanted to know was if it had the latest and greatest GPS and that’s it.   Oh, heated seats are nice too!

Time: 5:30pm

Weather: sunny, warm 30c

Motivation: Didn’t run all day.

I also don’t have an internal GPS. Luckily my iPhone is stacked with amazing running apps like Map My Run. Also, gmap-pedometer.com is excellent for route mapping! Keep up the great work!
