Thought: One of the greatest things I like to do while downtown is to eat a street dog. We were down there recently and had the option to dine at some of the hot spots with renowned chefs but I’d opted for this simple menu. There’s nothing like it. That great goodness with the crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside taste. I’ve been told it’s made of animal guts and salted too many times but there’s no steak in the world that can beat that experience.
You even have the choice to add a side without paying more. What I call antipasto- olives, hot peppers, bacon bits, pickles, onions, sauerkraut and then ofcourse, the condiments: ketchup, mustard, relish. Really, what’s there not to like?
I would suggest the only thing missing from this classy meal is to serve it with red wine. So far, no cart has this on their menu. Best I’ve seen is beer and that’s not classy.
Weather-5c, rain, snow, hail- you name it!
Time: 1:30pm, inside run
Motivation- Missing the weather outside and wanting to be up to date.
